SYB originated in Mississippi and a story nearly 20 years in the making… “Shit Yeah Boy” was my response to anything phenomenal (Hitting home runs, great plays, golf shots, winning championships, cookouts, drinking beers, hanging with friends, etc.)
It started without me even knowing I was saying it…“Shit Yeah Boy!… “Anyone want to grill out and drink some beers?”...response, “Shit Yeah Boy!”
Long story short, I started asking my buddies “Why do y'all keep saying, “Shit Yeah Boy!” every time I ask if y’all want to cookout, drink beers, play beer die, golf, etc.” Their response was “Because you say that shit all the time! Hence the saying, "Shit Yeah Boy!" SYB—JD
